Libertarian Presidential Primary

hornbergerfbcoverThere will be a Libertarian Party Presidential Preference Primary (say that 3 times fast) on March 3rd, 2020.

The primary is non-binding because the LP selects their Presidential candidate at their national convention, which is in Austin, Texas (May 21 – 25, 2020). However, the primary gives the LP the opportunity to gain media and name recognition earlier during the election cycle.

It also provides an excellent opportunity to reach out to Unaffiliated voters, who are eligible and invited to cast their vote in our primary. The higher the turnout, the stronger the message it sends to the two establishment parties.

A message that we refuse to support the lesser of two evils. We want political power returned to the rightful owners, We The People.

For example, presidential candidate, Jacob Hornberger has been campaigning heavily not only in NC but here in Cabarrus County, which earned him a mention in the local paper.

Jacob and I intend to campaign together here in Cabarrus, before the March primary. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to campaign together after he wins the Libertarian Party nomination.

Due to Jacob’s 30 plus years of service to the cause of Liberty and the courage and compassion he exemplifies in his relentless fight against the racist War on Drugs, I humbly endorse Jacob Hornberger for the LP presidential nomination.

Libertarian Gentlemen

Thomas managed the Lee Wrights for President 2012 campaign…

These two men have always treated me with love and respect. I will never forget meeting Gary Johnson in an elevator in Orlando, Florida in 2012 after Gary switched over from the GOP (their loss, our gain). I enjoyed the time we got to spend together traveling the state convention circuit, almost every weekend.

The highlight of the 23-month campaign was the debate in Las Vegas at the nominating convention. A nationwide audience saw these two candidates put their best foot forward for the LP, for all of us. The icing on the cake was during Gary’s nomination acceptance speech, he admitted that Roger Lee Wrights won the debate. That made our 2nd place finish easier to accept.

I am happy to announce that I will be a candidate for Cabarrus County Commission in 2020.
This election was just a start.
Thank you for your continued support…

Thank You

I appreciate all 8,375 of my neighbors who voted for me. I ended up with 4.14% of the vote in a contest with seven candidates.

This is the first time I have run for office since 2010. I raised less than $500. I spent less than a thousand and I have over $400 left over. I managed my own campaign. I put up my own website. I managed my own social media. I put out every LP yard sign by myself. I did not receive a dime from a registered Libertarian living in Cabarrus County.

Am I complaining? Absolutely not!
Am I disappointed? Not at all! I am happy, pleased and pumped.
I worked my ass off, by myself and I kicked ass!
